Our History
The history of D’Angelo Antonio S.r.l. dates back to 1974, when Antonio D’Angelo started a business that would go on to become, over the years, one of the leading companies in the environmental services sector in Abruzzo.
The company was founded and has grown in the heart of the Val di Sangro, one of the region’s most important manufacturing districts, characterized by a strong industrial tradition and a dynamic economic landscape. It is precisely within this context that an entrepreneurial journey has taken shape, founded on expertise, reliability, and a constant focus on the needs of the local community.
A pivotal moment in the company’s growth came in June 1996, when D’Angelo Antonio S.r.l. became the first company in Abruzzo to be registered in the National Register of Environmental Operators for the collection and transport of special waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous. This achievement demonstrates the company’s commitment to investing in innovation, training, and compliance with environmental regulations.
In the years that followed, the company’s growth continued with the expansion of its licenses and areas of expertise, ultimately leading to certification in all major categories related to waste management and transportation. This steady growth has been accompanied by the expansion of the vehicle fleet, the adoption of the latest technologies, and the hiring of highly qualified staff.
With the arrival of Gabriele D’Angelo—now the majority shareholder—an important process of renewal began, combining the experience gained over more than fifty years of business with a modern vision of the environmental sector. This generational transition represents a turning point, marking the company’s evolution from a specialized waste transport operator to a partner capable of offering a comprehensive suite of environmental services.
